Why use a shoulder questionnaire?

They provide a measure of the patient’s perception, complementing the clinical examination.
But be careful:

First question: what do you actually want to measure?

👉 An imperfect but usable tool is often more valuable than a perfect tool… that is never used.

This discrepancy does not question the validity of the tools…
but it does complicate interpretation.
